What is the Gaia Religion?

The Gaia Religion embodies the spirit of love as part of
everyday life by dreaming about one's divine role within the
setting of a network of Neutopian Ecocities.  Our task is to
envision an Ordered World which has evolved to the point of using
high-technology for the high purpose of creating sustainable
arcologies (architect Paolo Soleri's word combining architecture
and ecology).

What is Neutopia?

Neutopia is a product of centuries of creative thought.  It is the
heroic quest to build the Ideal Neutopian World where the
individual has the freedom to shape the collective consciousness
in positive directions.  The human species has never created a world of
arcologies.  In order to survive in harmony with nature, we must
begin to do so.  Neutopia provides us with an educational program
and social architecture which orders the world in a new way.  The
poem _The Way to Neutopia_ is a comprehensive vision of the
principles of Neutopian thought.

How is Neutopia to be born?

Neutopia trusts in the power of Gaia (erotic mysticism) to connect
like minds together so that we have a new basis of understanding.
Neutopia is the poetic reality of life.  It re-sacralize's life and
is an alternative and more meaningful reality than is possible
under the mechanical worldview of the Newtonian era.

Through the alchemical union of the GAIA MESSIAH, a non-sexist
marriage of true minds, a new sacred pattern is unveiled as the
split between female and male energies reunite to form the union of
the telepathic hermaphrodite. Consequently, all souls can then take
their innate places within the new religious actualization
hierarchy of the Tree of Life.  The religion of Neutopia is Gaia,
the microbial Superorganism, the life-force of the planet which is
responsible for recycling the dead, regulating the weather, and
maintaining life.  The philosophic loving couple, whose purpose is
to create and reign the just social order, are the cultural symbols
of Neutopia.  They are the kiss of peace.

What is the lovolution?

Lovolution is a world-wide revolution, the evolution of revolution,
a romantic movement which ushers in a paradigm of wisdom. The
lovolution feeds the hungry, cures the sick, provides temporary
bioshelters to the needy, and educates the global population to the
benefits of Neutopian idealism.  In other words, Neutopia is a
millennium movement which creates Heaven on Earth, and Earth in
Heaven.

What is the basic ideology of Neutopia?

Neutopia recognizes that all the world problems are interconnected
and that they are all caused by our misunderstanding of the erotic
love. Because of our misunderstanding, we live in a racist, sexist
and classic worldview controlled by the plutocracy and its sexist
mythology of the Greco-Judeo-Christian-Islamic-Buddhist-Hindu-
Shintoist-Marxist traditions.  The ideology of True Love crumbles
the false gender stereotypes so that a new women and man--the
hetero-techno sapien can be born.

What is the Neutopian Transversity?

The Neutopian Transversity transforms the global Internet into a
online center of self-education.  We have been evolving away from
the idea of a single university as the place of academic life, to
now, where the Neutopian Transversity creates an interlinked Global
Community of Scholars who are working in unison to solve the
ancient social problems of civilization which are destroying the
earth's species. The purpose of the Neutopian Transversity is to
guide the World Computer Data Base so that we know the right
questions to ask in order to receive the information that we need.
Our task is to build the virtual world of our most noble dreams so
that we have the social and physical architecture to build them in
real life.

What form of governance structure is manifested in Neutopia?

Neutopia is a democracy/meritocracy form of education/governance.
Democracy cannot function without teachers who have been called to
save the human race.  These teachers are the brains cells of the
Neutopian ecocites, the meritocrats, whose job is to transmit the
ideas of the new cyberculture.  The cyberculture or Nexus
communities are communities where the built environment is designed
around the computer. Cyberculture is now coming together as the old
order falls apart. Nexus communities are where people pursue their
intellectual passions in intentional communities that are linked
together to transform the Global Internet into deschooled learning
webs.

In Neutopia, there is a balance between the collective and the
individual.  Centralized systems of communication are fed by
decentralized communication.  Email makes it theoretically
possible for everyone to be able to participate in the Global Forums,
allowing the meritocrats, individuals who come up with the new ideas
for the commonwealth, to become known and influence public behavior.
These extraordinary thinkers of the age make up the Magnum Concilium
(Great Council).  These leaders of scholarship, oversee the work of
the World Production Teams.

What role does science and technology play in Neutopia?

Science and technology make it possible for us to engineer the
Neutopian arcologies.  The role of technology is to construct the
new ecocites so that we can create a leisure society necessary for
the world democracy/meritocracy model, or what has been termed the
spiritual democracy, to be established. This will require that most
of the manual labor be automated.

The role of science is to teach us about our physical environment
in order to create a society which has an infinite curiosity about
human nature as well as a society which understands the limits of
the environment and the mortal aspects of our lives.  The purpose
of the Outer Space missions will be to work on solving the problems
of Planet Earth.

What is the relationship between ecology and Neutopia?

The ecologist and the Neutopian thinker *must* work hand and hand.
Neutopia channels the dreams of the good world and the social
architecture required in order to clean up our polluted and corrupt
world. The ecologist directs us to the toxic wastes which must be
cleaned up.  The goals of the ecologist and the Neutopian are the
same:  to create an environment where the balance of nature is
maintained through a non-sexist mythos of erotic love.

How does Neutopia relate to the United Nations?

Neutopia is based on an entirely different social order than the
UN.  The UN works within context that the nations-states and the
global corporations are the official dealers of power.  In
contrast, Neutopia is based on the fact that all the world is One
Great Ocean and there is an indispensable unity which flows
throughout the lands.  Through the Ideology of True Love, Neutopia
gives us a social structure of the One World Mind.  Politics is no
longer practiced as we move into the Neutopian Epoch where Her Word
is finally liberated.  Under the guidance of the erotic metaphor of
love, power becomes the practice of artitics--a word combining art
and politics--which advances the idea that government is not a
science, but an art, the art of True Love.

What is the natural sovereignty of womankind?

The natural sovereign understands that within the power
relationship of the loving couple, the female wisdom has the final
word in matters of creating life.  Therefore, she is the foundress
of morality and the giver of cosmic laws of life. As we move beyond
the era of patriarchy/matriarchy co-dependency, we begin to see a
new partnership grow between the sexes.  The partnership recognizes
the relationship between immanence and transcendence as we begin to
understand that we are biospiritual creatures.

Is there money in Neutopia?

No, everyone has an equal credit system for their basic human
needs. Also, everyone has a Internet computer account for their
spiritual needs.  Simply put, money was a bad idea started by some
greedy patriarchal priest at the temple Juno Moneta.  It is an idea
which needs to be put to death.  Since Neutopia is energized by
solar power which comes free from the sun, the economics of
sustainable society is also based on freedom.  Everyone shares in
and contributes to the Global Commonwealth.  The world's natural
resources are accounted for in the Earth Bank.

What about family values in Neutopia?

In Neutopia, the best teachers are the ones primarily responsible
for early childhood education.  Children in Neutopia are recognized
as humanity's greatest resource.  Even though parents play a major
part in the emotional up-bringing of the children, they are no longer
the sole providers of the children's material well-being.

People marry for one reason, the magnetic force of love pulling the
two together to form the symbolic oneness of the Earth.  The
attraction is created through their unique self-knowledge in
connection with the complementary Self of the other. The questions
asked to all couples are:  what is the purpose for your union?  How
are you to serve humanity through your divine connection?  In
Neutopia, it is recognized that the biological family bonds are not
as important to people's happiness and emotional security as when
individuals group themselves not for tribalistic reasons and blood
relations, but bond because of common interests and planetary
aspirations.

Will I live in Neutopia in my life time?

Neutopia is a state of mind which teaches us that our only hope
of rescuing humanity from its ignorance is to use our imagination.
Only then, in the realm of the virtual space of Neutopian Thought,
can we begin to see a way out of the global corporations' image of
development, the global shopping mall.  Our assignment now is to
refuse to accept this dystopian image of development.  The soil and
water are being ruined by the subdivisions of nuclear family housing
and skyscrapers.  It is essential that we begin to envision the
evolution of the city, life in an arcology.  Neutopia is a
long-term vision which requires us to change the present reality so
that we can being thinking holistically.  Our short-term goal is to
transform Cyberspace into a global system of spiritual democracy.
The task is to make the Usenet University-Global Network Academy
into the center of long-term visionary planning.  When the
lovolution has overthrown the corrupt ideology of global
capitalism, then we can begin to implement the physical
constructions of the long-term plan.

What can I do to help foster Neutopian thought?

We need people who can start a Media Moo on the Neutopian
Transversity.  We need artists who can create images of the
galactic love gardens of Neutopia.  This includes making visual
images of starcities and underwater cities. I also need people
who will work to help archive my doctrines and literature and
set up an ejournal on the Neutopian Transversity.  Also I need an
outside literary agent, publisher, editor, and publicist, someone
who will help me arrange a lecture series on Neutopian Thought and
the Gaia World View.  I need to be teaching a core of teachers about
the ideology of true love so that they will be able carry the ideas
around the world.

In order for this world-wide renaissance to happen, we need
artist who will begin creating rituals, songs, theater, symphonies
around Neutopian ideas.  Finally, we need architects who will draw
the blueprints for the Nexus communities.  In Neutopia, everyone's
diverse talents and skills are needed so that we will have the way
to make humanity a thriving biospiritual organism once again.
